Bali

I had very low expectations arriving at Bali, even resisted the idea when it was brought up. What I’d heard is that there are a lot of drunk Aussies over there. However, having spent 7 days in Bali (avoiding the party district altogether), it was one of the most relaxing and fun, short vacations I’ve had.

Bali has a lot to offer. It is incredibly green and beautiful. Terrace paddy fields in between lush jungle areas. Most city areas are no different to other Asian cities with a lot of activity and traffic. Perhaps the most interesting thing of all is that it is a deeply religious place. Indonesia is 87% muslim country while Bali is 87% Hindu!
